Mambazha Curry / Mangappazham Curry



Ingredients:
  • Ripe mango 5
  • Coconut 1 cup
  • Green chilly 2 to 4
  • Turmeric pdr ¼ Tsp
  • Cumin seeds ½ Tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Dry chilly 2
  • Shallots 5
  • Water
  • Salt

Peel off the mango skin and cook it with sliced shallots, curry leaves, green chilly, salt and little water. Grind together coconut, chilly, shallots, cumin seeds and turmeric pdr into a fine paste. Pour it into the cooked mango and combine it well. Heat it for a few mins and remove it from fire. Season it with mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and dry chilly.
